This fermentation weight is compatible with our Hefty (1 gallon) and Half (1/2 gallon) jars, but, can be used in any crock or jar that it fits into. It will season and age and change color with every batch, only wash with soap, water and vinegar. Never use a chemical and handwash only. Allow to dry completely when not in use.
